I am travelling from London UK to Los Angeles in mid February with one
of my children. I plan to make a broadcast quality
video-diary/documentary about America through the eyes of a young
Europeant person. We will be travelling round LA and the surrounding
areas. My child wants to meet Mary-Kate and Ashley, and I want to leg
it across the Mexican border and park off in the desert... etc etc. In
brief, I will be filming on a Sony PD 150, but need an extra pair of
hands> Does anyone know where I might go (on the web or by email...)
to track down, say, a student film-maker keen to hang out (with
expenses) for a day or ten, who can do some simple camera operating.
Don't know how it works out in California, but when I was at film
school in UK, it would have been a chance many of us would have jumped
at. Obviously if the programme is sold, there will be some
retrospective payment. Grateful for any directions. |
