Look at this movie, to be released in Feb 2010. Almost 200 ratings,
75% a "10/10?" Does this movie look like it could manage a legitimate
8.8/10 rating? Hint: "The Bridge on the River Kwai" has an
accumulated rating of 8.5/10.

*All* ratings need interpretation and caution. And, no, it's not at
all hard to imagine that this movie pleased a bunch of young-adult
preview audiences... or that they'd respond vigorously to the
privilege. Moreover, even if it never gets a tenth of KWAI's 50k
ratings, I'll still bet it's worth watching.

Hey you dumb stupid American-born ass. Don't you know the real reason
why
IMDB rating higher on most Hollyweird garbage films? This is about
marketing thing, not about quality of the film. Giving higher
rating point is good for Hollyweird film industry. Some rotten film
so disgustingly it provokes Muslim terrorst to blow up
the Hollyweird garbages. YES blow up Hollyweird garbage film. I
CAN'T EVEN
WATCH FOR FREE!!! |

There are even ratings sites appearing that don't allow any negative
ratings. They call them recommendation sites.
I don't care all that much what other people think--I usually have the
brains and the balls to figure things out myself. Your mileage must
vary.
The general trend towards lower and lower average levels of personal
integrity is disconcerting.
If you had any personal integrity you'd go back to school and learn what
the fuck a comma splice is. Usenet is a written medium and if you don't
know how to write it's your own fucking fault.
What am I not seeing? I can't find even a comma above, much less its
splice...
I'm talking about the 8 million posts where he has an inexplicable comma

to do so. I'm just being judgemental of his judgements.
So, he's commatose...

True, but you're setting yourself up with that last sentence.
Do tell. |
