I have. I don't know if I'm a fan of von Trier but I've seen many of
his films just to see what he's up to. "AntiChrist" is being described
as a horror film. That misses the point. It's far more arty than
horror although it definitely takes the anger of grief -- if you will
-- to horrific extremes. It's an unsettling and disturbing flick. Is
it explotive or cheap in its thrills? That's a matter of personal
taste. To me, it visualized and made the physical the subtext of some
relationships and it explores grief in a graphic way. Others will
dismiss the film for numerous reasons and I won't argue with them. It
is an eyeful that goes right to the brain.
