2012: Doomsday
" Four strangers are drawn to an ancient temple in Mexico on Dec. 21,
2012, to witness a global catastrophe of epic proportions. Based on
actual Mayan prophecy, the story melds folklore and Christian beliefs
with science, exploring themes of climate change and spiritual
renewal. Ami Dolenz, Dale Midkiff, Cliff De Young and Collin Brock
star in this apocalyptic thriller directed by Nick Everhart. " -
Netflix
Um, this movies sucked and that's about all that's worth saying about
it.
Question: Between now and the end of 2012 how many more pieces of
trash will filmmakers toss out based on the date? |

Why would anyone believe the prophecy of a loser culture that died out
LONG before the date they set? |

I can't get past "mankind's most ancient culture" nonsense in the
trailer. One of the most ancient in the New World, sure, but thousands
of years newer than the Middle East cultures. |

That "loser" culture lasted far longer than any Western empire. |
