I apologize if I did not adequately mention how great Blair Brown's
performances
are in these two films. Subtle, cerebral, but also viseral when
appropriate (her
horror at the changes that have come to William Hurt's character in
_Altered State_
is amazging, and is something that modern scream queens can learn a
lot from).
Now I really want to dig up all my old "Molly Dodd" tapes and watch
them. Too
bad the holiday is almost over. |
