Odd powersave behaviour - affetcted by NTPserver ?...

Hi all,

Ever since the clocks went back last Sunday, I have been getting odd
behaviour upon booting my openSuse 10.3 PC.

For some reason, after booting, the monitor switches off, as if the
Powesave function had told it to. The monitor switches back on once the
mouse is moved.

I have all my Powersave functions set to never switch anything off, and
this did not use to happen before.

Well, having said that, I think I had the same problem once before, around
the same time either last year or maybe the year before, and I seem to
recall it is connected to the NTPserver resetting the time by such a large
amount.

I must have cured it, but can't remember how.

Any ideas please ?

Thanks

Paul (W)
