i5 on an X58 chipset?...

Hi All,

Is there any reason a motherboard that is compatible with i7 processors
(X58 chipset) would not also work with an i5 processor? (I was told
the i5 required a P55 chipset.)

The I7 processsor uses a 1366 socket,the I5 takes a 1156.

The I7 processsor uses a 1366 socket,the I5 takes a 1156.
