I tried this new service from Mozilla
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/

Doesn't work for me on FF 3.5.2 or 3.5.3 on SuSE 11.0

I always get:

Plugin Finding Service Error
We've encountered an error. Please try your request again later.

Anybody using FF 3.5.2 or .3 on 11.0? Does it work for you?
How about 11.1?

If you are running the Windows version be sure to disable Windows
Presentation Foundation or your butt is exposed to the wind.

For Firefox users with .NET Framework 3.5 installed, you may use
“Tools”-> “Add-ons” -> “Plugins”, select “Windows Presentation
Foundation”, and click “Disable”.

The service works for me on 11.0, but Flash is the only plugin that
says "Up to Date" on the button, all the others say "Research" on the
button and the note to their left says "Unable to Detect Plugin
Version."

So, yes it works for me on 11.0 but not very well! :-)

Yes, it works with some plugins and not others. I think they targeted the
ones which are the biggest security risk:

http://blog.mozilla.com/security/2009/10/13/mozilla-plugin-check-now-live/

I still can't get this to work with FF 3.5.3 - but it works with FF 3.6b
with all the same plugins - though not all the same addons so it's not
exactly the same configuration.
