This bug occurs whether using the avasys ImageScan! program for my Epson
V30 scanner or the Xsane scanning program. If the scanner is turned on,
and then either program is opened, and the program(s) recognize the
scanner, and then the program(s) are shut down, (whether or not
something was scanned), then the shutdown button on the scanner does not
work. I have to unplug the usb connection into the comp tower first,
then the shutdown button works. Online faq suggests the scanning
software is still running, but the program was shut down. Any help is
appreciated. |
