I was reading some reviews of motherboard, and I came across some
articles that suggest that MSI motherboard comes with EFI?

Is it true? If so, my next question is how good are they for Linux?
And, not that it's very important, would it be possible to run OS "X"
on it?

No clue, but could be possible, think there was a project with the aim to make
a openfirmware to replace bios on normal x86 machines.

Linux don't have any trouble with this, while running microsoft could have.

It's not just the EFI that makes you able to run the OSX, there are loads of
PowerPC motherboards with EFI which can't run OSX without hacks like MOL and
you have the same limitation on the x86 based EFI, you would need to continue
to use OSx86 due the lack of special chip from apple. I think pystar had sone
dongle they attached to the machine to be able to run the OSX natively.

I have a MSI K9N6PGM2 with a GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 built in and works
fine and the Nvida driver installed. EFI, the short description of the board
in the small book included, dosen't mention it.
