That's a big question, like "what's a a good way to handle taxes".
Break it down to chunks: protecting your system from old security
problems that there are patches for, protecting your system from
unknown security holes in its services, protecting yourself from
unwelcome users, protecting your system from undesired administrators,
protecting your data, etc. |

Learn how to handle IPT. I think thats a good feature of host security,
because IPT is integrated into the Linux kernel. ( a member of the
netfiltersystem)
