The one aspect of both Ubuntu Hardy and Intrepid is that fast user
switching does not work at times, giving all sort of annoying weird
misbehaviors.
Has anyone else found this to be the case and is there some good
solution?
Why is it so difficult to implement?

to spammers, I and many others block all articles originating
from Google Groups. If you want your postings to be seen by
more readers you will need to find a different means of
posting on Usenet.
