Here's the specs on my computer:
P4 Hyperthread 2.8GHz CPU socket 478.
2GB RAM
70GB 10kRPM SATA Drive (Western Digital Raptor)
Ubuntu 8.04
Virtual Machine Stats:
WMWare 2.0.4
Windows XP Home
512MB RAM assigned.
30GB VMWare drive.
Seamonkey installed with preloader
Avast! anti-virus
Time to boot WinXP VM? (This is from the time I press "Go" until the
little avast icon stops spinning, including preloading seamonkey).
55 seconds.
No wonder Microsoft is afraid of people running Vista in a Virtual
Machine. |
