Hello, and a good day to you all. I was wondering if anyone has hacked
smoothwall to allow for a 4th nic?

I would like to add a wireless card to my smoothwall box (4th nic) for
wireless lan action.

I was curious if anyone has ever tried this.

Thanks,

Bob

Yes, it does. I just received notice that 3.0 stable was released 4 Sept.

Yes, it does. I just received notice that 3.0 stable was released 4 Sept.
But it does not support any wifi cards. The new PURPLE interface is

intended to be used for wireless devices, but so far only with the
help of an Access Point...
