I do not like that the turning thingy does not contain a link anymore. I
liked having an extra 'home' button.

Now my question:

When I do a 'killall firefox-bin' and then start firfox again, I get a
warning that tells me : Your last Firefox session closed unexpectedly.
You can restore the tabs ...
I can start a new session or restore the session. How can I use a
default so I do not see that stoopid warning again?

houghi

I haven't tried to change that setting yet, but if you go to the address
about:config you can edit a large number of settings. If you filter on
session there are a number of settings there, you could try those...

None of those. :-(

I then looked and found something called 'browser.tabs.warnOnOpen, but
that didnt do it. There are just too many choices and I am not sure what
I am looking for. I do not even know IF it is possible. :-/

I understand that you can add the following options:

browser.sessionstore.enabled | Type: boolean | Value: false
browser.sessionstore.resume_session | Type: boolean | Value: false
browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once | Type: boolean | Value: false
browser.sessionstore.interval | Type: integer | Value: 30000 (equals 30
seconds, adjust to taste)

good luck with it

None of the exist.

houghi
It doesn't exist, but you can add it. Open firefox, enter about:config

into the address bar, right click in the window, choose new - boolean,
then enter the appropriate info.

Don't do a 'killall firefox-bin'?

remember - a turn signal is a statement, not a request

Thought for the day: There is more money being spent on breast
implants and Viagra today than on Alzheimer's research. This means
that by 2040, there should be a large elderly population with
perky boobs and huge erections and absolutely no recollection
of what to do with them.
