Uninstall the Firefox you already have. Back up your bookmarks and
delete your user folder in /home, too. You will need to enable seeing
hidden files to do this.
Then download these three things (assuming a 32-bit system):
MozillaFirefox-2.0.25.1.i5.i586.rpm
mozilla-nspr-4.6.3-6.1.i586.rpm
mozilla-nss-3.11.3-3.1.i586.rpm
Get them all from the same openSUSE ftp directory. Sorry, but I don't
remember exactly where that is but it is easily found. You have to
install the moz-nspr and nss first; just open a console and su and do
rpm for the installs (man rpm for switches). Again, I'm sorry but I
don't remember which one comes first but if you get a dependency
problem you know it's the other one!
After you install nspr and nss, you can install Firefox.
I realize I didn't describe how to do it from Smart, but if you can't do
it from Smart do it another way that works.
