No wonder my Suse security icon is red every other day, or more.

Linux more secure than Windows?

Looking at all these hits makes me wonder.

Maybe Linux hasn't been targeted yet because there aren't enough people
using it to make it noticeable?

Nice to have security threats fixed fast, ain't it. Did Apple release a
patch to fix all those security holes that have been popping up lately yet?

Which is more secure? Software that encourages the finding,
reporting and fixing of bugs... .OR... software that discourages
the finding, reporting and fixing of bugs??

Linux is the former, Windows is the latter.

Yeah.. right.... I just bet you were "wondering"...

Yep.. that's it! Why didn't I realize it!

Bad Linux.. bad.. bad... bad...

It's evil. Did you know that people who use
Linux eventually commit suicide.. before that
they eat small children?? It's true... really it is!!

Just feeding the troll Smile

Tell you what...the day you get compromised by any piece of malware on
your Linux system, then come back and tell us how insecure it is.

Until then, you're just flapping fins.

Tell it to Suse........

I'm simply passing on the FACT that it seems like an awful lot of security
problems with Linux....

One every 2 days to be approximate.......

Oh, that's right... you prefer Microsoft's method of inviting malware, and
then not announcing an fixes... oh yeah... what fixes.

hey flathead, if Linux is so insecure, why is it that i've never used an
antivirus program??? or antispyware??? or have never been hacked and have
never had to defrag my disk???? strange, for such an insecure Linux OS.
huh??

welcome to the Future, numbnuts.

I don't know.
Maybe for the same reasons you don't use punctuation and capital letters.

I don't know if these are all security holes or simply updates but I
suspect it's a combination of both. In the past 2 weeks I've had
probably 4-5 "updates" for Ubuntu and SuSE. Just now I checked this
SuSE setup and it wants to download a "gpg" update.

Are the updates security issues? Some are described as fixing potential
security issues but I'm not aware of any machines being compromised by
this. Are all these updates annoying? They are not "fun" but I
certainly wouldn't classify them as "annoying."
