XF86FREE --- Fatal Error 104

Hi

I'm a very newbie to Linux, but I have installed a DEBIAN.

After the install finishes, the Xfree is installed, I have a Nvidia Geforce
2, I choose the nv driver.

When I try to start the X the screen goes black for about 15 secs. and it
reports a FATAL ERROR 104

just in top of the Error list, it seems that It find my monitor just fine,
Its a HITACHI CM610.

If you ask me to copy something in linux, please tell me howto.
