I know it is probably simple, but I can't find the answer.
How do I switch from using KDM to using GDM on fedora 1
Thanks,
Andrew |

KDM to GDM? The Default should be GDM. At any rate, you need to edit
your /etc/sysconfig/desktop entry.
Mine reads: DISPLAYMANAGER="GNOME", Yours probably reads:
DISPLAYMANGER="KDE" Adjust as necessary.
All distros do not follow this convention, Mandrake needs the phrase
"DISPLAYMANAGER=kdm". Go figure. |

Thanks,

If you mean switch from KDE to Gnome, I do it in the log on screen. You
can choose any DE/WM that is loaded on your system. But if you are
talking using CLI then the other poster has the answer.
