Hard drive mounting problems

Hi,

I've got a problem when I try to mount a couple of my hard drives. I've
formatted them using cfdisk (which works fine, except it wont allow me
to change the type to ext3). However, when I try to mount the drives
(there are two separate ones), I get the error "Wrong fs type, bad
option, bad superblock...". I'm not sure why this is and have completed
a bad block scan with no errors, and the file type is correct?

Cheers,

Tim
