Hello,
The Yellow Dog Linux 6.2 installation guide from fixstars
says the following:
"The PS3 may also be forced to return to the GameOS
by holding the power button for about 5 seconds at power on.
Doing this resets your PS3 to factory default."
What I would like to know is whether the hard drive contents
are affected during the reset to factory default and in
particular whether my linux partition is deleted when
I do this. Anyone know what exactly takes place
when the PlayStation3 is reset to factory
default in this way?
Thanks,
John Goche |
