Please note that on or around July 15, 2009, AT&T will no longer be
offering access to the Usenet netnews service. If you wish to continue
reading Usenet newsgroups, access is available through third-party
vendors.

Posted only internally to AT&T Usenet Servers.

This is a lie - it has been posted over many public news groups.

*Multi-posted* even, to be precise. Those at /sbcglobal.net/ have
probably never heard of Netiquette... <grin>

Was the misspelled
Distributrion: internal
in the header meant to achieve the internal post?

ISTR being encouraged to use
Distribution: uk
many years ago, no idea whether it worked!

Aren't you glad. Don't you wish _everyone_ would leave such an
incompetent ISP.

As several have posted elsewhere, the incompetent klown who decided
to spam all of the newsgroups doesn't know how to spell. Did you
notice the header

]Distributrion: internal

Perfect example of their lack of skills.

The Distribution: header never really worked, most servers simply ignored
it.

FYI the spam is the truth. Confirmed 09 June 2009 in internal fire-walled
SBC/ATT newsgroup(s) by the lone remaining nntp server admin.

YOU are wrong. The message said 'Posted only internally to AT&T Usenet

Servers' when in reality it has been published to the world at large.

You don't like being found out about your limited reading capacity.

20-30% of the OT dreck seen across many, many ng's recently are all
these postings by folks that have only a smattering of a clue about how
usenet works and how to reach it without being spoon fed by their mother
ISP. Well, that, and all the dreck supplied by the rest of us acting as
if any of this really mattered.
