Hello,
does anybody have informations about (or is anybody old enough to
remember) C-Cube's AVIA at (no spam) tv MPEG-decoder chipsets, epecially the
AVIA500 and the AVIA600? These chips are used in millions of DVB set-
top boxes for satellite and cable TV.

I have found the following (dead) links with Google:

http://www.c-cube.com/files/PB-AViA-TV.pdf

http://www.c-cube.com/files/ACF12B4.pdf

http://www.c-cube.com/pr_detail.fcfm?pr_id=140&highlight=15

However C-Cube's website www.c-cube.com was deleted and all copies at
web.archive.org were wiped out. C-Cube was merged into LSI in 2001 but
there's nothing about these AVIA chips to be found at LSI's websites.

Any information like data sheets and application notes, programmer's
handbook etc. would be greatly welcomed.

Best regards,
Dieter
