I have a pr LAN at home with a wireless ISP access point nearby for
the Red side of things. Running 2-3 PC on the Green side. I performed
the 2.0 installation, however I don't get the one single "beep", just
the three ones. which indicates to me the PC is not talking to the Red
NIC. Also I seem to remember having to "fool" SW for a PPPoE
connection, but don't remember what I did. Wish I took better notes.
Perhaps I need to do a ADSL arrangement even though I'm PPPoE? Anyone
know what to do?
Also, when I get this up and running, can I "save" the paremeters on a
floppy (like the installation shows), then, later do a restore this
with disk, for another PC with different hardware, including
different NICs (with different Mac addresses) ? |
