Hi. I have a 2007 Apex with only 1000 miles. Today when I started it the
exhaust sound was slightly 'throater' sounding. The sled would also backfire
occassionally when I accelarate hard, then let up on the throttle. Any ideas
as to the cause?

Check your exhaust system. Sounds like a leak in there somewhere. I'm not
up to snuff on the newer four strokers, so this is only a guess.
