The gentleman's post on his wanting to dump his Videos.....makes me
ashamed, embarrassed, and droopy, that I never stopped to realize that
it is IMPOSSIBLE to listen to a large collection in even three
lifetimes....I mean..LISTEN AND STUDY....I do understand that the idea
of CD's was not present when i bought my LP's...just like those who
colelcted 78's..never knew there would be LP's...I am afraid in a few
years CD's will be replaced by another media..well...mp3's are already
taking over.
I guess the certain compulsion of "having it all" is
invovled...I knew someone once who had all the RCA Camden LP's....IN
SHRINK WRAP...
I am speaking more of my more recent desire to branch out and
listen to material OTHER than opera...But...Who need a 10 CD set of
Boccherini...when I do not like much baroque music..ONE CD would be
sufficient..Vat a Joik..

Do any of you have a similar problem???And for the youngsters out
there..DON't DO IT unless you plan to live to 200 and never clean the
house.....

If you would get off the freakin' internet for half an hour, you might
be able to start.
