Hi,
I just bought this new camcorder and am having problems transferring
the video to my computer using USB 2.0. The software provided
(Imagelink ver 1.7) only lets me save the video in MPEG-1 (VCD)
format.
I have Arcsoft ShowBiz software, but it would not recognize my
camcorder and neither does Win XP's Movie maker. I want to be able to
create DVD's out of my home videos.
Any ideas ? I have tried contacing JVC, but it seems to be of no
help. I sincerely hope someone can help me.
Thanks! |

Thanks for your reply. It worked. However, it is dropping some frames
although I have ATA100 Hard disk with DMA enabled. |

Glad to help. Not sure, but I do remember in the directions, it mentioned that
frames can be dropped because of cpu speed and also if there is not enough
memory available (suggests closing all other applications during capture).
