I am new to the handgun market, i recently purchaced a Pheonix arms 22
auto and have really enjoyed shooting it. I am looking for a
resonably inexpensive higher power hand gun and was thinking about a
Hi point. Does anyone have any experiance with these guns? I know
that in rifles you get what you pay for and i fear that these low
price guns may be a bad choice as a starter gun.

The fellow that tested me for my CCL said he didn't allow them on his
range after one self disassembled, parts striking the shooter in the
forehead.

I don't personally have any experience with HiPoint, but do a quick
search on the group for "hi point" and "hipoint" and you'll get lots
of bedtime reading.
