Hi.
I saw it and a bunch of VCRs in the amentities room in my office. They
were being thrown out. The VCRs are fine.
The unit powers up, and the audio mixing section works fine. I don't
know how to test out the video section, however. All video outs are
BNC connectors. I have a BNC-to-(rca) Composite adapter, plugged the
"preview out" into my monitor. I then took another BNC-to-RCA and
hooked it up to the composite video out of my laserdisc player. I
could see video, but it jumped around and looks a bit scrambled. The
unit has a light that says "sync warning" and is lit up all the time.
I know NOTHING (obviously) about this kind of equipment, but if the
thing is ok, I'll sell it.
Any ideas what I should be looking for? What is this whole Sync thing,
anyway? I think I'm sounding like an idiot here, but again, I'm
clueless with video.
Thanks,
Kris |
