Me and seven of my friends are planning a 2-3 day trip to the smokies,
with maybe 2 nights of backcountry camping. Although there are many
trails to choose from, it seems that we can camp in the backcountry at
only designated sites. Can anybody suggest a good trail which lasts
about 20 miles or so, has a designated site at around the midpoint,
and which also scales decent heights (5500 ft +) ? |
