An experienced squad, mostly Euro based.
I am very disappointed that Hoilett (Blackburn) is not in there, and I
was still hoping for a Jonathan De Guzman change of heart.
GK: Hirschfeld (Energie Cottbus) - is not playing much
GK: Wagenaar (Falkirk)
D: Klukowski (Bruges) one of 3 canucks playing in the Europa League
D: McKenna (Köln)
D: Hastings (Hamilton)
D: Jakovic (DC United) one of 2 MLS players
D: Stalteri (Mönchengladbach) not playing much, or even on bench of late
D/M DeJong (Roda Kerkrade)
M: De Guzman (Toronto FC) other MLS player
M: Hutchinson (København) second Europa player
M: Bernier (Nordsjaelland)
M: Hume (Barnsley ) - out with fractured skull most of last year
M: Peters (Ipswich) - getting to play a bit this year
M: Simpson (Manisaspor, TUR)
F: Jackson (Gillingham)
F: Radzinski (Lierse, Belgium )
F: Friend (Mönchengladbach)
The other Canadian playing in the Europa league is Tam Nsaliwa, but I am
not up on what his citizenship/ national team status currently is.
He can't play for anyone other than Canada.
Surprised to see Radzinski back in there. It's a small squad for two
games.
Several players still involved in MLS playoffs, notably Onstad, Hainault
(Houston), Jazic (Chivas) and Johnson (RSL) |
