Dennis M here:
I cranked up my dining room WIN95 computer with all the ASCOA DOS
Software. The Monitor lit up green but the Computer was orange rather
than Green lighted. Power Prob??? I have all raw data & Source
ASCOA software (FORTRAN & QBASIC) backed up on 3.5" floppy twice.
I do not have the compiled/executable DOS data manipulators nor
compilers backed up on my VISTA computer.
I ordered an identical $95 Power supply from Chicago for noon
delivery on Thursday. This swap 'may' make things right/go??
I have edited all new raw membership data on WORD 97 text mode on
VISTA unit. I can not process this data yet.
Getting DOS software to run on VISTA requires the DOS BOX which I
have.
Putting all the stuff together on VISTA may take a day or so.... &
work??
but the new WIN 95 Power supply mite work too???
Nuff said....
