Well, how was it?

dope

i didn't expect the crowd to be so into it...like you said, the place
was packed and people were going nuts all the way to the back

I saw J5 in concert once, and they were obviously packing the venue from
front to back. In that hall, the crowd usually loosens up around the
middle (of the room), but at this show, the guys standing at the far
back were literally held up against the wall by all the others.
Outstanding.
?
So how does he pull it off on his own?
I do rate him as the best of the J5 MCs, but, ironically, when he's all
by himself, I don't enjoy the tracks as much. Maybe it's the beats,
maybe he doesn't try as hard when not busy to outshine the others. He
just can't win, can he? Wink

his little brother was up there with him and between them they did a
few J5 songs...he seemed taken aback at the love he was getting from
the crowd...seems like a great guy...he mingled and signed shit after
the show and he's a very humble, respectful dude

two of the aussie support acts were very good as well...i'd never
heard any of their shit before, but i'm a fan...the first was the
public opinion afro orchestra (http://www.myspace.com/poao)...they had
about 12 people on stage...drummer, horn section, backup singers and
an emcee...it was a mix of african refugees and whiteys..the emcee was
incredible...when i wandered off after their set, there was a duo
called diafrix (http://www.myspace.com/diafrix) on stage in the next
room and they were excellent as well..two more african refugees who've
been living here since childhood

a good night in all
