Not a good round overall for the top-4 teams, who only managed to get
two points in this round, as Vasco and Ceará drew away to Fortaleza
and Ipatinga respectively. Portuguesa came closer to the top-4, with a
surprisingly heavy win away over Guarani. Figueirense did so too, over
Brasiliense. The shocking result of the round was Atlético-GO's heavy
loss to Duque de Caxias.
At the bottom, Fortaleza, Campinense and ABC's situation is quickly
becoming desperate. Bahia manages to leave the relegation zone with a
somewhat unexpected win in Caxias do Sul.
