Last night I was treated to sveeral hours of live folk music from
Dave Panting on voice and acoustic guitar and octave mandolin.
He plays every Thursday night from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., no
cover, at Erin's Pub when he is not on tour
He was an early member of Figgy Duff and is a founding member
of Rawlins Cross and is now also in Gulliver's Spree with Tom
Boland.
His web site is http://www.davepanting.com/ .

That should be "several". I'm going to have to learn to
proofread my posts before sending them.

I have to agree with you Dave, Dave Panting and his brothers as well
are great musicians. He is part of the foundation of the Folk
Festival each year, performing 2-3 times throughout the weekend.
He and his groups have some great CD's out there.

That's Friday and Saturday Nov. 6 and 7. On Oct. 30 and 31
Military Road (Andrew LeDrew, Kalem Mahoney, Mike Hanrahan
and Robert Kelly) are playing.
