I have been a subscriber for 18 months and think there have been 2
broadcasts with DelMonaco. He sang at the met for 9 seasons. Where
are they? |

I would guess that they are being held for ransom by another Otello of
a later generation than del Monaco!! ;-)

Sirius has broadcast five of his 13 broadcasts which isn't bad . IMHO they
still should broadcast the 52 Aida OTOH two of the performances not yet
broadcast are his Don Jose which was frankly dreadful- flinging his voice
all over the place with nary a hint of style or subtlety. Wagner Fan

Sirius has broadcast five of his 13 broadcasts which is a pretty good
average for one singer. IMHO they still should broadcast the 52 Aida OTOH
two of the performances not yet broadcast are his Don Jose which was frankly
dreadful- flinging his voice all over the place with nary a hint of style or
subtlety. Wagner Fan |
