Whoa, this plant bites back! ( More likely it's reacting to another
bird that is out of the frame.)

Notice the throns on the rose stem.

It reminds me of signs on the backs of some trucks when I was young:

CAUTION
AIR BRAKES

'Sokay--I speak "typu" (also "puns", but that didn't seem to work here.)

I am amazed at seeing how big a Chickadee's feet are relative to their
body-size. I guess foot-size is a function of "what I'd like to stick
to" rather than body size per se, but those thing's look huge
(relatively speaking).

What's the black border for? Did it die?

What's the black border for? Did it die?

I apparently posted the wrong pointer in this thread--the bear was from
another (not even sure it belongs in this froup!)....I'll try to work
mthat out when I get home from breakfast.

To address the question--I doubt it--that is one of the pictures I got
from Pixdaus--most of the pictures there are from photographers with an
artistic bent.

The Subject: I originally used with that picture was "I swear, it wuz
this big."

OK. In the outside chance that somebody besides me is curious about
what I thought I was doing......

On the 18th I posted this pointer to a picture of a Chickadee
near-inverted with this Subject: What the....

Then on the 22nd I saw this picture:

http://pixdaus.com/single.php?id=199493

Which I intended to post with the question "The rest of the story?"
since it shows three Eagles in some negotiation over ownership of a
fish, two of the Eagles are in flight-attitudes very much like that of
the Chickadee on the first picture.

That is my story and I am sticking with it.

But I do now wonder if we know what happened to the bear's fish.

The Bear seems to be smiling. Not an expression I would trust.
