plans to amalgamate the National Archives of Ireland, National Library
of Ireland (incld. 'office' of Chief Herald of Ireland) and the Irish

Am I to understand from this exchange in the highest legislative body
in the land that Government Ministers have decided to let Ireland's
History and Culture go to the dogs??? !!!

no they are catching up with Wales national library (and archives)

no they are catching up with Wales national library (and archives)

And it is not just the Welsh who have gone down that path:
http://www.lac-bac.gc.ca/. Of course, the CHA remains under Government
House. It would likely archive its records with LAC.

Andrew, I took at look at you CHA link and there is nothing relivent
to the subject od consolidations that I can find: is there an article
or something else that can tell us what's up eactly?
