I don't know that any of the dioramas were moved to
Dallas when Squadron bought out VLS.

I have seen a "hobby shop" on ebay (attempting) to
sell what is purported to be Verlinden's work, but I have
no idea if that is in any way connected to what you were
asking about.

That was "Miniature World" formerly located on 5th street in St.
Charles, MO. If all else fails, you may wish try and make direct
contact with the man himself, via his website:

There is a fantastic room of miniature scenes in the Chicago Art
Institute, on lower floor. These are building scenes- I guess you could
call them dollhouse miniatures. There are more than residences, there
are shops and even a fantastic church with stained glass windows.

Yeah - I've seen both. It was a shame when they had to close the
display in St. Charles, though.

Long background of compaies and individuals (Verlinden, Letterman, Stock)
merging to eventually end up VLS. They had the Museum for dioramas - but
then there were differences of opinion and the company split - this split
the collection - the museum closed. I believe there were some problems with
a guarantee to the city they wouldn't move the museum else where. So the
stuff went off public display. VLS merged with Squadron and moved operations
to Texas. Verlinden went elsewhere.
