Two issue states of the Canadian edition. The first item has a cancel title
page, suggesting an earlier printing than the second item, which does not.

Green & Gibson: "2,504 copies were supplied in the first instance,
followed by a further 401 copies."

For Sale:

1. Doyle, A. Conan. THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES. Another Adventure of
Sherlock Holmes. Toronto, Morang, 1902. First Canadian edition.
Illustrated with a frontis and eleven other plates by Sydney Paget.
Title page is a cancel. Red cloth, decorated on the cover with a circular
portrait of Holmes, and printed, all in white, on cover and spine. 1-(249),
(1 blank) pp. plus 8 pp. of publisher's ads. Green & Gibson A26d (with no
mention of ads). The foot of each page of advertisements carries the Morang
imprint. Moderate wear. Fraying at the head of the spine. White cover
lettering intact. White spine lettering is gone. Covers slightly soiled.

internally. Very good.
