Washington, D.C. - October 10th, 2009 -- Jazz music fans can download
a complimentary MP3 track, 'Southern Comfort' by trumpeter and
bandleader Thad Wilson's Jazz Orchestra taken from his CD album A Work
In Progress on http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/thatwilson . The complimentary
download runs from October 10th thru October 31, 2009.
Thad Wilson is known for leading one of the most adventurous bands
around. His eclectic energy as a modern composer are brought to life
through his Thad Wilson Jazz Orchestra. A Work In Progress is his
fourth album blending contempary bebop and straight-ahead down beats
unearthing memories of Miles Davis and Louis Armstrong. Music from the
album is featured as the theme for Patroit Pirates and Jazz a
forthcoming tv pilot.

Wilson has performed alongside world-renowned artists such as George

Le Caveau de la Huchette in Paris, France; Antigua Music Festival;
