I've previously posted/linked stuff written by my daughter -- a good
swimmer and a good writer. Yesterday, she posted what I think is one
of the best accounts of what it's like to swim the English Channel
which has ever been written. http://laurinswim.com

Wow...what a fabulous achievement...and wonderful writing! I don't
know what prompted me to look you up on the rec.swimming site, but
there you and laurin were. Congratulations to the whole family!

Tremendous effort, and a very fast time. Why did she need to take pain
killers / anti-inflamatories throughout though? Doesn't that compromise the
result a little?
