Locally, the snowmobile crowd is pretty excited about this:

Check back in February, and December and January's weather will all be
history, but right now talk about " a spell of temperatures near 0 for
highs that last an extended period of time." does raise mixed feelings.
Highs of 0° usually mean lows near -20°. Love the part about "frequent
snowstorms and some big storms", maybe not so much the part about a long
siege of -20°.

No kidding... if only water would freeze at around 50f. LOL
