Are you some pathetic neurotic that furiously gnaws its fingernails about all risks ?

I am guessing it is a promotion of a website owned by him, BFWIW,
camping in areas prone to flash floods is a risk worth knowing about.
I have almost gotten in trouble on this one out West...Colorado.

Why was this cross-posted to misc.kids.breastfeeding?

Or even misc.consumers? What does this have to do with mercantilism,
trade, commerce, or consumer products?

Because if you are breast feeding some child, it can drown if
you step into a deep hole when wading thru floodwaters, child.

15 to 25 years ago, a drought in Southern California ended. During the
drought, people using a certain park had forgotten -- or never knew --
something important: That park was part of a rain water management basin.

When one rain storm came, some of the people using the park had to be
rescued by helicopter.
