It was a tough choice, but the boys and I are switching over to steel
this year for upland game.
We spend a lot of time hunting pheasants on public land, and a lot of
that in Minnesota is Waterfowl Production Areas (no lead allowed, not
even in your pockets). I don't like the juggling of shells back and
forth, emptying guns and pockets just because we are moving from one
part of the field to another. Besides that, our favorite game farm
went all steel earlier this year, clinching the decision for us.
Anyone have any advice for using steel with upland game? I haven't
noticed a difference.... |
