In the past few years there have been several top-notch button
accordion CDs released by Newfoundland accordionists including:

Vince Collins
Frank Maher
Art Stoyles
Graham Wells
Daniel Payne
Dave Penny.

They should all be available from http://www.freds.nf.ca .

Am I missing anyone there?

I have all the CDs except the last two and I'll try to put together a
review of all of them for these groups in a little while. But note
that I now retract the statement I once made that Graham Wells
mainly does well known Irish session tunes; on his CD he draws
extensively on the Newfoundland tradition.

My Newfoundland and Labrador Travel and Music page is at
http://www.nfld.com/~dalton/nf.html but I need to update
it soon including the list of sessions (there is now a Monday
evening Erin's session hosted by Billy Sutton and a Tuesday
evening Nautical Nellie's session).

You should consider looking up the talents of Baxter Wareham.

Yes, I have an old cassette of his and have heard him live
a few times but I'm not sure what he has done recently.

Thanks,
David

Is there anywhere I can hear or download some audio clips from any of these
musicians?

Try googling individual names. When I did that I found some
YouTube clips of Art Stoyles in his kitchen and a MySpace
page for Graham Wells.

The Art Stoyles clips are
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7vApdpsJLM
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6GchFXy72c

and the Graham Wells myspace site is
http://www.myspace.com/grahamwellsmusic
When I next see Graham I'll ask him if that is the best site.
