The AQB International Cricket (ODI) ratings have been updated to 16
September 2009.
Sri Lanka won the Compaq Cup at home with a 46-run win over India. However,
that tri-series had little effect on the ODI ratings other than to drop New
Zealand, who failed to make it to the final, one place to sixth. Sri Lanka
remain fourth, and India remain on top of the ratings. Australia have taken
a 5-0 ODI series lead over England with two matches remaining, which was
enough for Australia to move ahead of South Africa into second in the
ratings.
The main ratings list at 16 September 2009 is below. Rankings changes shown
are year-to-date.

if im not mistaken Australia will get back to #1 if this current series
against England results in a 7-0 whitewash. 5-0 so far... |

Yes, or 6-0 with a no result, but not if the end result is 6-1.
