Hello from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I used to read this group but i
don't windsurf for almost 3 years. I'm coming back now and going to
Icaraizinho in the northeast of Brazil.
I'm trying to book with Vela, at least the windsurfing gear.
I had wrote them 3 days ago throught their website but until now no
answer. I'm travelling in 2 weeks so we have to settle everything fast
!
If anyone can provide me with a phone number of their office in
Icaraizinho I appreaciate. Or are they out of business ?

It says their windsurfing center is located in the Les Alizes Hotel.
Maybe you can contact them directly, since you're down there. |

Hi Fabio,
If you want to book through Vela like many people in South America do,
you'll need to contact the office in Hood River. The email address is
info at (no spam) velawindsurf.com. The phone number here is 1-541-387-0431. You
won't be able to get a hold of them until Tuesday though since Monday
is Labor Day here in the US.

I emailed Vela and got a quote. Interesting that they didn't receive
the info throught their website (big form !).
I hadn't checked but I'm a little dissapointed since the mast used is
a X3. Not enough time to go with my gear.
Let's see how it will be.
Anyone here will be there or in Jericoacoara in September ?
