Special Anime Screening: EVANGELION 1.0- You Are (Not) Alone
Date and Time: Wed. Sept. 9, 2009; 6:30pm
Place: JICC Auditorium
Fifteen years after the cataclysmic “Second Impact," the mechanized
metropolis of Tokyo 3 is under attack by mysterious alien giants
called Angels. A lonely 14-year-old boy named Shinji is recruited by
his father to pilot Evangelion Unit One, humanity's last hope against
the destructive Angels. Evangelion 1.0: You Are (Not) Alone is the
action-packed first chapter of a four-part adaptation of the popular
“Neon Genesis Evangelion” anime series. Experience this film at JICC
in the original Japanese with English subtitles, before the English-
dubbed version opens at Baltimore's Hoff Theater for a special week-
long engagement (Sept. 11-17).

Free screening? But the movie is still out in theaters. This seems
unfair to the people who have to pay to see the movie.
