'Cricket & Company' became available in October 1974 as the UK edition of
the quality children's magazine 'Cricket' which was launched in the US in
1973. 'Cricket & Company' was published in London by Open Court Publishing
Co., St Martin's Lane, London. but survived for only 13 issues after which
it was replaced by the US version which continued to be distributed in the
UK but was published in America by Open Court Publishing Co., Eighth Street,
La Salle, Illinois. It remains a superior children's magazine in the US
today and has won many awards.

I am trying to find a good home for a number of the earlier issues which my
children loved and read so avidly in the 1970s and would welcome enquiries
from anyone who is interested in owning these delightful magazines. I am
not trying to sell them - merely trying to find an appreciative owner. I
need the space but am reluctant simply to dump the magazines.
Issues 1 to 3 were snapped up by a collector some time ago but the following
are still available. They are not in mint condition. Some are slightly
marked as described but otherwise they are all in reasonably good condition.
I believe that they would be more suitable as collectors' items than as
reading copies.

Issue 6, slight ink marking on cover; small area of creasing bottom of cover
..
All have delivery address pencilled on back cover.
